the format in your data source is "full month name" and "full year" with a space in between.
Currently SAC supports the option "MMMM-YYYY" - so you would have to ensure to replace the space with a "-".

If I understood you right, you want to see all the variables in a Dropdown list, where you are able to select one or more variables ?
If yes, currently this option is not possible, but our teams are working on it. In the future the Set Variables interface will be more compact and better organised.
I hope that my answer were helpful for you :) Please feel free if you have further questions !
Great feedback, while you can go into the ">More" option to manually select White, we do understand that this is time consuming. White is a color that we use on darker backgrounds.
Currently this option is not available in SAC to rename the labels of attributes in case of Live Connection.
For your first question, The blog below briefs the functionality and use cases of container widgets in SAP Application Design, it includes the Panel and Tabstrip.
For your second question, input controls are mainly used for page level filtering. The blog below explains how to leverage the input controls in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Also, you can leverage input controls as story level filters, by enabling the linked analysis option. The below blog explains you the same.
Hope these answers your question. Kindly let me know, if you need any clarifications.
Thanks and Regards,
Till date, we don't have an API to set data source to a widget (chart/table) in Analytics Designer. So, we can't dynamically change the data source in SAP Analytics Designer.
in your example I would expect "null" as result for all those values that are part of the "Else" portion because it looks like you didn't define the result for the "else" part and therefore it will show "null".
On the second part of the question - I think I know what you are referring to and I will raise it as a bug to get fixes. What you can do is to type "Not_Assigned" for example.
