I was following along the blog from Dr. Dorothea Walter:
But I couldnt access the data because of the following error:
com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://zeus.hana.prod.eu-central-1.whitney.dbaas.ondemand.com:xxxxx/ [Cannot connect to host zeus.hana.prod.eu-central-1.whitney.dbaas.ondemand.com:xxxxx [Connection refused: connect], -813.]
That was until I added the public IP adress from my client into the white list under DWC-administration:
After that I could connect and read DWC-managed views from this space.
Is this working as intended?
Thanks and kind regards
The Parent Child Hierarchy is a great feature in SAP Data Warehouse Cloud. In addition to that, if we get an option to expose the H-table through ABAP adapter (currently P, Q and T tables are getting exposed) then, we can directly build our BW hierarchies on top of H-tables. Which will be a great value add. I know, we directly expose the H-table by access the underlying HANA DB using HANA adapter, but still it will be great, if we can access H-tables through ABAP adapter (if the customer doesn't have HANA DB then, it will be helpful for them).
Thanks and Regards,
