Have you tried analytics designer? What do you like most/least about the features? What questions do you have about it?
Most of the features tend to be good,
but I could see that Panel and Tabstrip seems to be synonym which needs to be more clarified
Major issue seems to be when working with Input_controls(Story level and Page level) needs to be refined
Thank you for your response @Bose! I'm going to see if there are any articles or blog posts that will be able to help you specifically with what you've asked for. Stay tuned! :)
For your first question, The blog below briefs the functionality and use cases of container widgets in SAP Application Design, it includes the Panel and Tabstrip.
For your second question, input controls are mainly used for page level filtering. The blog below explains how to leverage the input controls in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Also, you can leverage input controls as story level filters, by enabling the linked analysis option. The below blog explains you the same.
Hope these answers your question. Kindly let me know, if you need any clarifications.
Thanks and Regards,
Thanks for sharing @harikrishnans! @Bose, here are some more resources for you:
https://www.sapanalytics.cloud/analytics-designer-handbook/ - the topic is covered in the Analytics Designer handbook. There are many different types of panels (settings panel, side panel, builder panel) covered throughout the handbook. Additionally, there’s a sample on page 34 of the handbook for working with the Tabstrip.
Hope this helps!
