HANA connection

Hi All,

Currently the HANA connection exposes tables and calculation views through schemas. Since the calculation views are getting stored in _sys_bic schema, everybody could have read access to that. Can we expect the calculation views getting exposed from the HANA repository contents with package previlege applied?

Thanks in advance,

Hari

hi @harikrishnans have you tried the abap connection already? from the abap connection you can also access hana artefacts exposed from the repository content.

@Jascha Kanngiesser, Yes I have already tried that in case of BW on HANA, the ABAP connection is exposing repository contents. However the performance of ABAP remote connection is slower compared to HANA remote connection. Also, in case of Enterprise HANA source system (native HANA modelling), we can't connect through the ABAP connection. So, it will be better if we get repository contents from the HANA connection as well.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hari
